alternative ideas??

Marianne ere…ok i may feel like crying but i wont…not sure what to do….do we have to have a covering for texture? what about adding more muslin and spray paint on tonal colour to give the effect of texture?like this one in the picture? Or how about a carpet effect of fabric like the second picture?? really need loads of ideas guys…………
